8 wks this Tues since my RNY surgery!!!

First of all Happy Mother's Day to you all!!! Hugzzz  I had a great day with my MOM and my 2 children.

So this Tuesday will be 8 weeks for me and I feel GREAT!!! I don't get to go on the computer for alot of leisure stuff as I am quite busy these days. I went back to work last Sunday and that is going well thus far. I run 2 small businesses on the side and have 2 girls age 2 & 4, then there is the hubby....Whew!  ha ha So I am busy to say the least......LOL but I had to come on to catch up on all the progress of my OH friends. I just spent about 1/2 hr or more reading most of the post which I love to do.  Congrats to all on your successes.

I haven't been weighed since my last one in April but I know I am down on weight. I just decided to buy a scale which I said I wouldn't but as I'm curious...hee hee Scales are usually not my friend so we'll see if we resolved some old issues from the past......ha ha  

Today my hubby and 2 girls gave me a WII for Mother's Day and I have been playing it all afternoon. What a work out I had .... and I was so proud of James in getting it for me, as its nice to know he cares and wants good health in me to and listened to my list....j/k  He's my rock and my 2 girls are my angels  

We went out to a Jack 'n Jill dance last nite and this is my first time seeing alot of my family and what a feeling I had. I received so many compliments and nice words which made me feel wonderful once again. The only dilemma I had was like the one of Charline's; I had to walk off the dance floor to pull up my panties a few times  which I wasn't expecting to happen. That didn't stop me though, as I don't think I stayed off the dance floor for no more than one song at a time.  I am thinking I haven't danced  like that since over 10 yrs and that was another great feeling I had as of lately.  I'm going to stop rambling now and go cuddle with my hubby.... ha ha

Debbie you are doing so great - keep on keepin on - its working for ya and your enthusiasm is contagious!

I know how great a feeling it is to be able to be out at a function and feel part of it and like you are living not just existing which in the end before surgery when I went out to anything public like that I was climbing out of my skin feeling so out of place!

Good to hear from you. I am glad you are doing well. It's nice to visit other forums, just don't forget your roots!!
