when Dr. B is starting to do VSG's? I assume that is the third surgery he has been learning how to do, since it is the 'new kid on the block'... Has anyone heard anything about when he'll start?

Hey Suzanne, are you getting tired waiting too. I wonder what the hold up is in Halifax. I understood the OR cutbacks over the last few months wouldn't affect the Weight Loss Clinic.
I am really getting pissed off.

Have you heard anything?

Okay, I JUST received a reply from Diana (from home - she just got back from vacation!) - what a sweetheart. She said she THINKS I will be in clinic early June for my appt., then 'with any luck' surgery in June/July or August. Okay, that's not too definite, but it feels good just to know I'm still on the radar and close. Carmen, maybe it's worth an email or a phone call to the clinic to see if you're on the horizon, or at least find out how they are prioritizing people. Let me know if you hear anything.

Well that is great news.... it would be so great to get this over with before school goes back in September..... glad you got some news - must give you some peace.

Now c'mon Carmen lets make it 2 for 2 girly contact them and see whats up! Maybe you guys will be room mates! lol

Thanks so much for your encouragement, and it worked. I emailed Diana this morning. I just didn't want to seem too eager or pester her...but....it has been since February since we heard anything and it is like living in limbo land. I have alot of projects on for the summer that are work related and I really need to know so I can plan. Anyhow, Suzanne and Deb, thanks for the encouragement to drop Diana a line. Sometime all I need is a kick in the butt. Cheers,

Oh I am sorry you guys dont have any news yet ....... they get you all hyped with your info session and make all these promises and now you just sit and tick........ not fair- waiting sucks big time!

Keeping you in my thoughts and swinging chickens and lizzards and keeping all crossables crossed!
