My Scales

If my scales don't move soon, I'm going to scream !
I am tired of weighing the same day after day after day.
I'm even getting some walking in lately.
it's sooooooooooooo frustrating.  That next fill can't come soon enough. 
I am way behind in this program and not liking it. I hope next time he says see you in 6 weeks, he means it !  I know its not all his fault cause i had a stomach issue as well, but when i was ready for a fill, it took 4 weeks to get in.  I'm still on my first fill after 6 months.

Anyway, that's my beef for the day...

Hi Patsy don't feel to bad about not losing as long as your holding your own, I've had four fills and am at  13.5 cc in my band (the first three don't count ) so am officially at 10.5 cc and i only have morning restriction occasionally. I've gained about 5 pounds since surgery and have never had restriction last anymore than a week or two  past my fill date. When they checked my band to see how much was in it they only found 3 cc, but said it wasn't leaking. They thought the tubing kinked but I,m leary. P.S. think twice about selling your treadmill they come in real handy in the winter , wish mine hadn,t broken       Steve

Hey there Patsy, Hang in there you.  You have done wonderfully well and the amount you have lost in the last year is nothing to sneeze at by a long shot.  You are an inspiration to so may of us. 

Next time he says six weeks - make sure it is,  call Nathalie the next day and make your next appointment.  That is what I did and I am happy I did.  She is so busy, it must be hard for her to make all her calls when the phone rings non stop like I am pretty sure it does.

It took me a long time to get my first fill and its not exactly doing what I had hoped but then that is to be expected.  I am hoping next fill will do it for me.  I have an appointment near the end of May so here's hoping.

Like I said hang in there, you can do this part too.  Think back to the liquid pre op diet - ick - that was hard and you did it so you can do this part too.  The whole process is an experience and we need to remember to embrace it all don't we.

I called Nathalie in Friday- 2 days after my fill and she had not received my paper work yet, so wouldn't book me. She promised to call me as soon as she received my paperwork. She has not called yet.

I'll bet the there are lots of NSVs- celebrate them. I have barely lost weight but I have shrunk 2 sizes since surgery.
