Okay....excuse the language but would someone please pass me a knive so I can stab myself and let some gas out.  OH MY GAWD.....I feel like I am dying here, I thought as the days went on it was suppose to get better?   I have this HUGE pain behind the port incision that feels like it is gonna explode.  I'm not sure if its the pain or post op blues but I've done nothing but cry my head off all morning.  I guess I'm just a little iriatable today

Are you walking and moving around Jenn?  And try some GasX it sure helped me.  It will get better but if it persists particularly around your port incision I would call the clinic just to make sure that is all it is.

Hang in there girlie,
Ann

I'm hanging in there....its mostly around my port area and my left shoulder.  Everytime I burp or take a deep breath it feels like someone is stabbing me.  I've been moving around walking as much as I can.

Oh Jenn, I feel so bad for you.  Why is it that some people have a much harder time than others.  I am going in with a positive attitude and hope for the best.  Went for my usual walk tonight after "supper" , I did Saturdays cleaning tonight - might get a little more done but doubt it.  I made up a grocery list and will do my shopping for "special things" tomorrow (Gas-X is on the list).  My DH is walking in the Give the Gift of Life Walk-A-Thon tomorrow so I will be spending the morning in Woodstock.  When we get back it will be yard work for the rest of the day.   Basically, I'm trying to stay busy and keep my mind off of Tuesday.

Jenn, i am hoping each day that passes will be a little better for you - hang in there girl!  Not like you have a lot of options at this point I guess.  It will pass (no pun intended)  Take Care and keep posting,

Suzanne

I found that GasX and a heating pad helped a lot.

Well I got the gasX into me and I will make sure to turn on the heating pad tonight.  Thanks for all your encouraging words of advice
