Mid MediTrim Meeting!
Well, I got up at 3:40AM thinking it was 4:40. I asked my DH to set his alarm clock as well. Guess that only works if I set mine to come on TOO LATE! - oh well, it made for a much more leisurely departure. I got to Moncton shortly after 8 and by 8:30 I was in talking with Lise! That was 30 minutes before my appointment - great. I got weighed -down 6 pounds YEAH! - and then we talked about my BP and I told her that I stopped me BP meds and she said she would like me to contact my doctor. I tried and his office was closed til tomorrow and I do have an appointment on the 27th. So, I spoke to the pharmacist and she said while she couldn't tell me to stop my meds but, she said based on the amount I take it wouldn't be harmful to stop them abruptly- and I have. I do need to check my BP for a few days. I also was concerned about an infected tooth. Lise said to get on an antibiotic ASAP and it should be fine. Other than that, everything was great!
I then met with Rinette, because she was away the last time I was there. Another good/informative meeting. So, everything should be a go for next Tuesday!
Anyone I have met with in Moncton has been A-1 and I really appreciate all the positive attitude and professionalism!

Wow Suzanne, 6 pounds!! That's awesome. You are off to a good start. Soon the waiting and worrying will be over for you. Then it's just getting used to your band. I knew you'd do O.K. I guess we all worry for nothing.
How are you doing on the medi trim? Did you ever get used to it or did you find a way to get it down? Are you hungry at all? Another few weeks and you will be back to real food. And best of all, all of this will be behind you.

It seemed that first week on MediTrim the scales moved everyday and since I've had my weigh-in they haven't moved at all. Oh well, with only 2 days to go I'm not going to worry about it - it is what it is. i have bumped up my exercise over the last couple of weeks and walk almost every night so it could be a plateau or a "little" more muscle. I am very anxious to be done the MediTrim. After the first 3 days it is all I can do to eat the chocolate bars. I literally have to wash the chocolate bars down. I do okay with the shakes but I find the bars very sweet - the chocolate more so than the peanut butter. I can't wait to eat pureed chicken stew - crazy eh?
And how are you doing these days? Our forum seems a little quiet lately.
Thanks for asking - Suzanne
