Jenn, i want to wish you all the best tomorrow.  It is the beginning of a new & wonderful life.  We will all be waiting to hear from your angel and when you're up to it to hear from you.  Warm thoughts and prayers going your way.  AND I can't wait to join you all on the losers bench!

Any veterans out there with some last minute tips for either Jenn or me?

Best of Luck, Jenn.  You will do great.  Don't push yourself too hard.  Let yourself rest and heal.  It's important.   I think people are often amazed at how much pain they go through in the first few days and you have to remember that this is major surgery.  You have to be good to yourself and rest, rest, rest.  You'll feel better in no time.  If you have any questions, don't forget to ask.  We are all here for you.  Take care, patsy

Woo hooo Jenn!!!!! Glad to hear your big day is finally upon you.  You will do just fine.  Remember to do everything they tell you to do to the letter, its very important.  As long as you do that you will be fine.  And if you have any questions of concerns do not hesitate to contact the clinic, they expect you to do that.  And of course we are all here to help you too.

I will think good thoughts for you tomorrow.

Thank you girls for all your well wishes and support!!!!  I just got done sending my little girl off for her sleepover with Nanny & Grampie, so I'm just puttering around keeping busy.  So far I'm not nervous or anything but I am sure it will all hit tomorrow.  I got on the scales this evening and I am done another 4 pounds so that makes a total of 15 lbs on the meditrim.  Surgery is at 11:30am tomorrow.

So I guess I am outta here until after that, talk to you all soon

Remember Jenn,  its okay to have a little boo hoo at the operating room door.  I did.  It was not nerves though so much as sweet relief, I was finally going to get the help I needed and I am so very very happy I had the surgery.  Try to get lots of rest tonight and remember all of us are here for you and thinking of you.

Waiting for you over here on the losers bench,

Ann

1-Remember a pillow for the drive home (to hold against your tummy when you need to cough). 2-Tonight make yourself a comfortable "nest". I put an extension cord on the phone so i didn't have to get up to answer it, gathered some pillows and a blanket, and any other comfort things I could think of, and put them around my lazyboy. It was a good thing too, because I couldn't lie down to sleep.
3- Put your clear fluids in the fridge.
4-Fill your prescription in Moncton and take a pain pill right away.
5- If you don't have coverage and the pills are expensive, you may want to ask for only half the amount ordered. I didn't even use  half of my pills. I'd give them to you if it wasn't illegal........

Everything will be fine,....has to be with all of us saying prayers. Welcome top the losers bench, call me anytime.
