appointment for second fill
I decided to be in control of this process so I called Nathalie today and made my appointment for my second fill. Dr. Beau had said see you in six weeks so I took him up on that. I did not want to wait for them to call me. I am scheduled for May 27th at 2:00. I am most happy with that.
I am doing fine back on unpureed "real" food. I made my lentil stew and I am making sure I have my snacks which I was skipping sometimes before. I lost weight again this morning. Being at an all time low and then going a smidge lower sure feels good. I am sure I will need a fill in May though since restriction is not quite there yet. I feel cold water moving slower though and I am satisfied for longer periods of time between meals and snacks. So the band is working somewhat. I want to get to the sweet spot though so that I can get to where I need to be for summer.
So its all good thus far.

Hi Charline,
You sign in as usual and then you go to the second waiting room as always. Someone from the Clinic will see you and weigh you. You must fast only for 4 hours before your appointment time but during that time you can have water. No suffering through an overnight fast. Its not hard at all really. Make sure that the water they give you to drink is cold. They have access to ice water so request it. I don't know about you but I can feel ice water going down. Currently it hesitates a bit before it hits the rest of my stomach.
Its not a difficult procedure so just relax and an let Dr. Beau run the show and you will be fine.

I haven't ever fel****er go through the band. The only time I felt anything is when a pill was stuck for a few minutes and I could feel water going past the pill and then the pill going through.
I am not nervous. I might be for a moment tomorrow, but not for long. i stick myself with needles all the time, so if he runs late, I will just offer to do it myself!!! Unlike you I want him to be on the aggressive side. Is it clear fluids or full fluids tomorrow?
