Inquiring minds need to know! I had eye surgery many years ago and it was a lot easier than I expected. I hope the same was true for you. So do we call you "Patch Parks" now?

 I had lasik eye surgery a few years ago - not the same thing I know.  Mine was by choice yours isn't.  Hope everything is okay.

Hello there, things went pretty good yesterday with my eye surgery, the doctor removed the tumor off my eyelid and I had to have 3 stitches and he had to cauterize the incision as it wouldn't stop bleeding so now I look like someone sucker punched me in the eye but guess what I won the fight the other guy looks worse...hahaha...The surgeon told me that he will send this away as urgent for the biopsy and he told me he will get the results this week coming instead of waiting 2-3 weeks.  He said yesterday he didn't like the looks of the tumor the nodules were odd shaped he said.   So now I wait until towards the end of next week for results. 

But thank goodness this part is finally behind me and this eye sore is gone (pardon the pun) 

I was in quite a bit of pain yesterday and just relaxed so I wasn't online at all, but I am back

PS   no patched eye as expected he wanted it to breath.....but I still feel like a pirate...lol

I expect that with that shiner you probably look like a pirate after shore leave!

Pretty much, looked like I was off the wagon and walked the plank and missed...lol  The swelling is starting to go down and I am able to apply a warm facecloth to get rid of all the dried blood that is around the stitches, it is looking better each day.  The stitches will fall out on their own.

It is a beautiful day out there today...I may take the dogs for a walk to the beach, well I am dog and house sitting for my mom and stepdad as they left for Cuba last Saturday and won't be back home until April 28th.  The dogs are great company and there is never a dull moment here that is for sure.  They will love to go for a walk more like they will take me instead of me taking them...oh well good exercise for me.
