Debbietlc, where are you? Are you O.K.?  Has  anyone heard from Debbie from the cape?

Happy Easter - I heard from Debbietlc at the beginning of the week - she was doing much better. I have not talked with her since her appt to remove her staples which was supposed to be on Thursday. If I remember correctly she is away to inlaws for the Easter Weekend. Hopefully she is still doing well.

Thank you debbie. I was starting to worry about debbietlc. The last I heard from her, she had just returned from the hosp after having an I.V. for dehydration. I hadn't heard from her since. Thank you for letting me know she's alright. Thank you for asking about me. I am doing better. Still can't eat meat but crave it like you wouldn't believe. And you were right, the further out I get, the better I feel.

First of all sorry for not posting as of lately. Whats new with me? Well when I landed in the hospital for what I thought was just dehydration it turned out to be Food Poisoning. They found this out when my stool testing came in after I was released from the hospital. We believe it had to do with a chicken I prepared at the house here but not sure. I told them I was limited to what I can eat and just didn't understand how I would get food poisoning. Any hoo, I am on antibiotics for that and feel so much better now. I had my staples removed last Thursday and all went great....I lost a total of 53 lbs thus far since I started this journey; so I am pleased to say the least. I still do struggle with breads, meats & milk but getting through it. After I gotten my staples out we went to the In-laws in PEI to spend Easter with them. The kids had a great time and it was nice to see the family once again. So thanks Margie for checking in with me and sorry once again for not posting so you don't worry. All-in-all I am doing good and back to myself once again. Happy Belated Easter everyone. Have a great week one and all. Hugzzzz

Glad to hear from you Deb. Glad to hear that you are doing ok with food. It's some hard, isn't it. But it does get better. I am now able to eat bread. Not much and not very often but I can get some down and it stays. I drank about 3 ounces of milk  today and it stayed down too. So maybe I  am going to get some milk back too. I still can't do meat, veggies or most fruit but that may come back too. I am still afraid to eat in a restaurant or in public because when I  need to upchuck, I need to upchuck now and am afraid it will happen in public and i won't make it to the bathroom. I'd die of embarassment.  Also don't want to dump too far from home and my bed.
