Suzanne H
Hey Suzanne, how's it going. Haven't heard from you in awhile. Is everything going o.k. with Ian and your mom? How is his infection? Did you get to Saint John to get his new line put in? Thinking about you girl. Your plate is really full.

Hi Maggie,
things are busy but okay. Ian's infection has cleared up and he is holding his own. We went to Saint John on Tuesday to see Dr. Dolan. He had blood work, spoke with the doctor and then had a bone marrow biopsy because of low white blood cells. The doctor never mentioned the "C" word and was very tactful. He also said that if is something that can be taken care of by medication he will just call and let Ian know so that he doesn't have to make the trip to Saint John again. So if he gets called for another appointment we will know it is serious. Dr. Dolan was very good to deal with - a nice man.
My mom is doing fine now that she can get out one and a while.
Tuesday the 7th is my blood work day. I know that I have lost weight on my scales, but not a lot, this concerns me because of the difference in how the scale compare? Hopefully it won't be a big problem. Being that it is on a tuesday, my DH should be able to do the driving.
A heartfelt thank-you for asking Maggie - I really appreciate it

I'm glad to hear that Ian is doing better. We will keep the "C" word away and pray we never hear it. Glad that your mom is mobile and is able to get out a bit.
Don't worry too much about the scale thing. If you are doing all you can, that's all you can do. Do you remember what I lost during the 2 week liquid diet. I think it was 3 or 4 pounds and I did not cheat even once so the scales are really not the best judge of what you are eating.
Hadn't hear from you in a while and was starting to worry. Thank you for comong here to give us an update. Good luck and God bless Suzanne.
