Hello Girls , I called the office this morning & got good news .   The program has NOT been cancelled which is" good news ".  Dr. S is all ready to go . Before he starts there is  nutrionists that have to go on course  , I don't know how long the course is going to take, but  she thought he would be ready in April .....don't know if she really knows or if she is just guessing .    So that is what I know , I hope that this information is true & we will be  getting our calls  soon.

Well after today's storm it does feel like "winter" again so maybe the hospital doesn't realize that they are running behind by a season ...

Anyway I am still trying to be patient and remember that my wait for Dr B would still likely be years and not just a few more weeks (or couple months).

Received another compliment at church yesterday ... a few more are noticing my weight loss ... 15 lbs doesn't seem like much to me but I think I have built up a bit of muscle so my face and overall size has decreased.  I am still taking my vitamins, getting in my water/fluids and focusing on my proteins ... but like so many times before, the carb monster is rearing its tempting head.  Hard to stay strong when the time frame is still unsure.  As with many of you, if I could simply continue long term then chances are I would not be this weight in the first place.

Keep sharing the updates though to remind us to stay on track!

Hi  Michelle 4, You are doing good on your weight loss. Imagine piling up 15 lbs of butter on the counter. It's a lot of weight .    I haven't lost anything (gotta change my ticker)  .My GP put me on amitryplene for sleeping & for pain. I gained weight with it , that is one of the side effects.  I keep thinking that I won't be able to eat bread after the surgery & my downfalll is BREAD , so I have been eating a lot of it .....(Bad Me).              I am sick with flue ,I got it yesterday right after dinner. I hurt so bad all over , sick to my stomach &  migraine headache.   I got very little sleep last night . I feel a bit better right now , hope its going away.   It's also snowing out , since yesterday.  Here's hoping that the news she gave me yesterday is right on the money.
