Just got my call from the hospital. My pre op is April 7 (happy birthday to me!!!) and my surgery is scheduled for April 28th. So, depending on how things are going with my son's medical issues, I should be on the losers bench in about a month!

I want to thank all those who PM'd me about my son. They did manage to get the infection under control - what a relief! His line in his shoulder will be removed but first they have to check the one in his arm to see if there might be a blockage - I guess they are having a difficult time to connect

not very pleasant after several tries. Thanks again for prayers and best wishes - Suzanne

OMG, how exciting to get your date set !!!! I am so happy for you. Things are moving along for alot of people, it seems. I wish you a ton of success. You'll do great.

Jenn, I hope things works out for both of us. By the end of the month we could be looking at a whole new life!!! How are you doing with weight loss. I am a stress eater and with all that is going on here at home this should be the ultimate test!!! LOL Wishing you all the best

OMG Suzanne, I am so happy for you. The lap band you are home the same day and should be back to almost normal in two weeks so all should be good with Ian's surgery. I am so glad to hear that you have a date. You go girl.

Congrats! The surgery is good news, but your son getting better is even better news. Cause for celebration all around.
You are right about the difficult placement of the line being painful.
