It's weekly weigh in time again.  I went to WW this morning and was down 2.2 lbs for a total of 95.6 since the very beginning (Feb/08).  I have 4.4 lbs to go to meet my first goal of 100 lbs lost.  My sister bought me a pair of capri's at Frenchy's the other day and were size 22.  I tried them on this morning and they fit.  I started in size 32 and now can fit in a 22.  How amazing is that.  I couldn't believe it. I may not be the fast loser in band history but I'm consistent.  My stomach is still not well but getting better I think.  I have to go to Dr. B. on Friday for an ultrasound.  My car seems to know the route on it's own.  Hopefully this time of year I won't need to worry about the weather cause Jay can't come with me.  My sister is going to make the trek with me.  We are going up thursday night cause the appt is at 7:45 on Friday morning.  egad.  That's early.  oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do.  Have a great weekend everyone !!!!!

WOW Patsy!!!! That is AWESOME!!!!!  You inspire me so much.  I hope to continue to follow in your footsteps.  I can relate to the size prize.  I bought some new things for my cruise and by the time I got on board they were all a bit baggy.  One of my travelling companions said "Ann I am so proud of your weight loss but you have to get a better handle on sizes.  All your stuff is too big."  I just giggled and kept my own council because she does not know about my surgery.

I hope you and Dr. B. get it figured out what is bothering your tummy.  I also hope that once I get my first fill that I don't end up with complications.  I have done well thus far and would like to keep it that way.

I am having a bit of trouble getting back to eating like a bandster.  Mostly its quality not quantity that is the problem.  I am craving carbs because I ate carbs more than I should while I was away.  That and I am sick and when I am sick (because of what my parents did for me when I had a fever as a child) I don't just crave ice cream, I CRAVE IT BAD.  So I have had a few small servings just because it makes me feel better.  I have tried the no sugar added stuff  - that helped. But I want it more than I should want it.  It is a struggle but I am still winning the battle thus far.

I can hardly wait for you to go to Florida and enjoy the weather and the opportunities to be active.  I had a blast.  We walked a lot and we were always out in front of our group.  My husband was so proud of me and told me so every day we were away.  I was proud of myself for being able to enjoy life again after years of sitting on the sidelines.  I keep thinking that if this year was this good and I work this band to my advantage, next year is going to be out of this world amazing.  It can only get better.

Thanks for your post, it has helped me to focus for today and that is what its all about... one day at a time one victory at a time.

Woohoo Patsy!  You are getting soooo close to the 100 pounds ... can you taste victory?  lol

Keep up the great work.  Slow and steady still gets the desired results with time to enjoy all the wows along the way!

Hope you find answers for the stomach trouble.

Way to go Patsy!
You must be feeling so good about yourself.
Keep up the good work. And I wouldn't worry about the speed at which you are losing, it looks good to me and as long as its going, who cares how long it takes.

Bye for now!!
