Elvis ..rrr.....Starr has left the building!!
I just spoke to Starr's husband?? partner?? She didn't clarify. Any who, Paul said that all went well with the surgery. Starr was in recovery for a little extra time because she had a bit of difficulty coming out of the anesthetic. They will be home in an hour or so. Starr is sleeping the trip away. They live on the fourth floor so she will have her first challenge just getting from the car to her bed. I will call again tomorrow and post an update.
Congrats Star on a successful surgery and welcome to the losers bench!!! Hope you have an uneventful speedy recovery. The staples suck big time and are such a nuisence but 3 weeks go by quickly and before you know it they will be gone. Remember walk, walk, drink, drink, rest, rest,. That is the weight loss surgery mantra.

Yay Starr, Glad to hear you got through it all and are now home. I agree with Maggie, the staples will just about drive you nuts by the end of your first week but hang in there. Resist the urge to see another doctor and have them out. Dr. Beau wants them there for the 3 weeks and is not all that happy if you decide to over ride that. He has is reasons and that is what counts. Welcome to the loser's bench. Nice to have you here.
