Thank you Shirley, I sure hope it cures the problem too. I won't know until Tuesday when I actually try  to eat solid food. Honest to God, I do believe I am starving. Food is all I think about and I am always hungry.

I think I saw you Suzanne. Were you the lady sitting against the wall talking to a woman named Tanya? If you were, then I was the short fat lady sitting against the opposite wall wearing a burgundy coat and burgandy coloured slacks. I thought it was you but you were so  far away and I was a little shy to go over and speak in case I was wrong. Was that Patsy wearing the red and black coast who was talking to you just before she left with a man wearing jerans and glasses?
I think it was a red and black coat I can't remember for sure right now.

Yup that was us.  you should have tripped me on the way out.  i love meeting my fellow WLS peeps.  well now you know...next time you see us, you better hunt us down.  I don't know what you look like cause your avatar is a little misleading !!!!  LOL.  It was quite a waiting room of Dr. B patients.  very very busy and lots of patients.  I'm glad I wasn't any later or we would have been forever getting home.  Anyway, nice to almost have met you !!!!  until next time.....

Glad to hear that food is in your near future. Do liquids taste better than they did? I am so hoping that is the case. You have had such a rough go of it.

Thankfully liquids do taste better than they did.But eating liquids for 6 weeks is like eating chinese food. An hour later you are hungry again. The thing about it is , I am surrounded by good good food but can not eat anything. It is getting better though. This morning I had a hardboiled egg mashed with butter. It does not taste like eggs but I do know how good eggs are for you so am glad I was able to keep them down.  Hopefully by Tuesday I'll be eating real food.

Suzanne, I want to tell you how concerned I am about your son. I have 2 sons and I can't imagine how I would feel if either of them were going through what your son is. My heart goes out to you my dear and I do wish both you and you son God's speed in recovery and health.  Words seem useless when something this serious is happening in someone's life. I think  we all feel so helpless to help you other than saying that we are here whenever you need to talk.  We have children too and can empathize with you. You have my prayers and good wishes. God bless.

Maggie, you are right, words cannot fix what is wrong.  But prayers and warm wishes are truly a comfort.  Thank you so much for your encouragement.
