Thanks for your concern Maggie. The only freak I'm having is the one where I can't eat. I'm absolutely starving. How can you possibly over-eat for over 40 years and then all of a sudden, stop. It's torture. The slimfast isn't too bad. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it but it's 100 times better than the meditrim. I'm absolutely terrified too. I just keep thinking about the whole lifestyle change, and while I'm ready for it, It will be a lot to take in and do. That is a bit scary whether I'm ready for it or not. I've lost 7 lbs so far since last Friday so that is encouraging. Thanks for the ear. Starr

I hear you Star about not eating. It is hard. The time will pass quickly until you are able to eat again. Once you are banded, you start eating food stuffs quickly. Going from liquids to mushies to solids in a short time.

I have not had  solid food since January 25. I have only been able to eat liquids since. I am absolutely starving to death. Soup, yogurt and tea only sit in my stomach for abut an hour at a time. I even dream about eating food.

Star,

Hang in there, you are almost at the end of this journey and soon you will be ready to start a new journey and it will all be worth it.  I for one think you are doing great, considering you are also dealing with quitting smoking.  Anyone who can lose weight while quitting smoking deserves an applause

LOL I thought your post said applesauce. I had to go back and look but I see you said applause and not applesauce. See I am starving. LOL
