Question on how soon should I start to call the offices?

I have had my referral from Dr Dornan ( Endecronologist in SJ) since July 08 and just had my family Doctor send a referral to Dr B and Dr S approx 2 weeks ago.  I'm still waiting for Dr Dornan to send one to Dr S..not sure what the problem is there.  So should I call Dr B and Dr S offices to ensure they have the referrals or how will the reception react to that so soon...if she bruahes me off, do I push back?  I just want to be 100% sure both surgeons have all the info they need before I start the dreaded waiting game...can anyone share their experiences on following up?  Thanks so much

I would call Dr B's office and simple ask if it has been received. I bugged poor Nathalie, but I was always apologetic and soooooo sweet.  I did my best to make her like or and have her in my corner.

It's their job to answer your questions so by all means call :) It won't make the process go any faster but it will be peace of mind for you and isn't that what matters? Wishing you all the best!
