Staple removal

I just got back from Moncton and had my staples removed. That feels better. I spoke to Lise and she was able to answer quite a few questions for me. i was good to get some answers. I will return to see Dr. B once he returns. Lise thinks I may have a stricture because eating and drining causes me so much pain. My weight was 236.12 so almost 237. please don't congratulate me on the weight loss because i feel so sick. It's not an accomplishment from where I sit because I have been so ill these past 3 weeks.

 Glad to hear that you are home and that you got some questions answered.  What is a stricture?  Is that like a blockage?  Did they give you an actual appointment time? I think someone said he gets back on the 12th?  Hang in there - one more week.  Take care.

A stricture is an abnormal narrowing of a body passage.  I think Patsy had an appointment with Dr B on the 13th.-his first day back.

Yeah, right now I'm back on liquids. That's all I can tolerate without belly pain.It may just be an irritated pouch too. I'll eat liquids for a couple of days and then cautiously try mushies and maybe soft foods. But now I'm back to hungry again.  Oh well, I won't starve. Got enough fat rolls to live on for awhile.
