A lesson about stress and the band.
The day before my surgery my office was closed. I hadn't filled out the paperwork for my leave. Today I went in to feed the bureaucratic monster with paper. Well, I first noticed the pressure of my band crossing the bridge (3-4 kilometers from work. By the time I left I had a lump under my breast bone the size of an egg. I stopped at Value Village to try to relax. The lump is less, but still there tonight. I have had 3 cups of tea trying to relax it, but to no avail. Is this likely to continue? Any ideas about how to relax this "lump"?
Why do you think that the lump is stress related?Could it not be from something you ate? or something else? I've had alot of stress but haven't had that feeling. keep an eye on it.

Because I hadn't consumed anything for about 15 minutes or more before the feeling started and it got progressively worse the longer I was at work. Plus it started in the same geographic location that stress symptoms usually start. Just now the thought of work brings the return of the lump feeling. I had pills slide through the band slowly yesterday and the feelings are similar.
I sure you find a solution to this stress related symptom or it will make returning to work pretty difficult. Let us know how you do with that. All the best.
