Bathurst Hospital

This is not much information but I was talking to a friend who is doing construction on Bathurst hospital. He told me that the surgical unit is done and they are doing surgeries now. He is working on the sterilization unit below the sugerical floor. He said that his part of the construction will be done in May. Now I am wondering what the hold up is for us if the surgical unit is up and going. I so wish we could get some straight answers.

There must be someone in the know. I do know that nurses have been training but who will be doing what was not decided when they trained in Moncton about 3-4 weeks ago.  I wonder if there is a way to get Dr S's e-mail address. Government  organizations usually use a formula for an e-address. I think that the hospitals use an initial and last name as 1 word @ the initials for the region like RVH for River Valley Health and I think there is an identification of the region number like r3 for region 3 and .ca.  I am thinking a little digging and I;m thinking we could come up with his e-address and one of his "waiters" could ask him directly.

I called Bathurst hospital and still get the standard lines and blow off. Need new way to find info.

OK I have been sleuthing. Just in case I am wrong, don't send anything confidential.  I think that Dr S's e-mail address is marc.savoie@r6.rha-rrs.ca    OR it's       [email protected]      If there is more than 1 person working in the region with the same name the will be a 2 , 3, or what ever number of people with the same name after the last name. Now if I could just get rid of this blue type and the underline!!

This may seem obvious, but why don't you just call and ask for his email address?

I would be shocked if they gave it out. It would be like asking for the doctor's direct line at the office. Heck, they won't give out the nurse's number at my Dr's office.

Hi there I am from Manitoba. My Doctor sent a referral letter to Dr. Savoie, a while back and I have heard nothing so I phoned and the receptionist said the hospital well book an appointment for me. I still have not heard anything.

So why don't one of you waiting for the Bathurst Program try to send an e-mail to Dr S?
