Hi all . Thank you all so much for your concern. I had my surgery on Thursday as planned. Friday (after me complaining all night about chest pain and SOB)  they discovered I had a 2 liter blood leak in my upper abdomin and my left lung was deflating. So back into surgery Friday at 11 am. They even called my boys up there just in case. Haha.   I survived. Many have tried to kill me and all have failed. LOL  I have a total of 131 needle pokes on my left arm and 122 on my right arm and 2 needle holes in one foot and 3 in the other. Holy Moses pin cushin. I got home last night at 8 pm and after throwing up and belching up from 11 pm till 3 am, and bleeding like a stuck pigI went to SJRH where I spent until 530 tonight. I thought I'd just touch base and am not going to write anymore for now. I am exausted.

SO glad you have your date Debbie and one more week for Charline. Can't believe for me it's over. YAY

Thank goodness you are okay.  We have all been so worried.  Please don't mess around if you have the least little bit of trouble go see a doctor.

Take it easy and rest as much as you can.  We will watch for more posts when you are feeling better.

Take care.  Thinking healing thoughts for you.

Oh Maggie my heart goes out to you - I pray that you will have an uneventful recovery going forward - like Ann said you take it easy and please dont sit and wonder about any feeling of being out of sorts..... you know your body and have to act if something is wrong..... call your surgeon or get to Emerg. if anything feels questionable..... better to be safe than sorry.

Is someone staying with you or are you at someones place -you shouldnt be alone with all you have been through....... please take it easy and one step at a time.

Congrats girly you have been through quite the ordeal - postive healing vibes being sent your way.......

hugs and more hugs

So glad you are home ... but your body has been through a huge ordeal so please listen to it and take care.  Get lots of rest, fluids are your main priority and be sure to walk often to protect against blood clots.

Drop in when you can, we are all thinking and praying for you.

Oh Maggie, I am so glad you finally got home. I am so sorry you had problems- it sure wasn't for a lack of prayers from this forum. Take really good care of yourself. Force yourself to keep moving and doing the exercises they gave you LIKE A RELIGION.   Any problem at all, and you fly into the ER. the prayers continue to flow for a speedy recovery.

So glad you made it home safe, Maggie. Get lots of rest and take it easy until you heal. Once you're healed, let the games begin. We look forward to hearing about your upcoming journey. Take care, Starr
