How are you? Many prayers are still coming your way. Let us know how you are as soon as you are able.

I'm sure she's doing just fine. She probably won't be home until tomorrow, right? With an RNY it's two nights in the hospital.

Hi Charline,
How are you today? I've been thinking about Maggie too. I believe she is fine, just trying to recover. But I hope we here from her soon

Oops! i forgot that she had a RNY. I will edit my post. I hope she is fine, because they closed the Dumont to visitors today due to a gastro-intestinal virus.

That's unfortunate for Maggie. I hope her sons got to see her yesterday.

My sister is at the Dumont for a hysterectomy, and it was open to visitors earlier today. I hope my sister doesn't get it, she is 75 years old. At that age recovering from surgery is enough.

I have been thinking about Maggie and how she is doing and my prayers are with her.  I am sure we will hear from her in a few days once she gets back home and situated.  I am so excited for her and everyone else who will soon be having their WLS I am hoping that I will have mine some time this year more then likely towards the end of 2009 but that is fine with me.

Yes, I agree.  She certainly has enough to deal with.  My mom  will be 78 in May and I can't imagine her going through something like that at her age.  My prayers are with her.  -Suzanne

Thanks for your concern. My even older sister called last night and said that she was hopping around like a kid. When she got up to go to the bathroom the first time, she didn't even call the nurse. She only weighs about 90 pounds. Her surgery was without incision (vaginally). I hope she realizes that doesn't mean that just because there isn't incision pain, it doesn't mean that the doctor hasn't done a lot of work inside.
