I have tried a lot of different brands and have yet to find one that does not make my throat feel like it will close over or worse yet one that does not make me gag. Thus far all I have found is vile and stinky and gross. I keep looking though. I have a soy protein powder from a place on the island that I am going to try later today. I will let you know how it tastes.
There is a guy on here, Stephen, from Freddy he gets the unflavoured from the Bulk Barn. I want to try that one but could not get it last time I was at the Bulk Barn in Moncton but they do have it and I will get some this weekend.
I got some fruity almost kool aid like protein drinks from Minogue Medical and they are pretty good but only have 15 grams per drink. However I am taking some with me on my cruise just to be sure I stay hydrated and get enough protein. They are called Nutri 15. They are difficult to mix up but I use a blender bottle with the little wire ball in it and it mixes up fine, put some ice and you are good to go. They are a bit pricey but then again I am not buying junk food so it all evens out in the end.
I will let you know how the soy protein powder mixes up and if I can get it down or not.
