For those waiting: What are you doing to lose weight right now?

The waiting for surgery is difficult, but it's time that we shouldn't waste.  After surgery our lives are going to be drastically different - but waiting until after the surgery to make changes is kind of - well, DUH.  Stupid.

What are you doing right now to contribute to your health?  What are you doing to lose weight?

I've been walking about 40 minutes EVERY day.  This might not seem like a lot to some, but it's a lot to me!  I no longer have to stop to catch my breath, even though 1/2 of my walk is up hill.  I feel so great when I move.

I've started drinking more water.

I've cut WAY back on sodium.

I'm eating more fruit.

I've cut back on mindless eating.  I still have to work on snacking on the "bad" stuff.

What are you doing while you wait?

Hi Anita,

I''m actually down about 15 pounds (I think because my weigh****cher scale SUCKS). I have cut back on everything and I am following the Nurtritional Guide. I drink water all day, snack on healthy snacks, eat wholewheat everything.

The only thing I need to stop is diet pepsi. So far I drink one a day but I need to stop completely. Also I would like to stop drinking with my meals!
