Spoke with Dr. S's office

I just called Dr S's office and tried to pump some information from her.  Firstly, I apologized to her for all the calls she must be fielding (just to butter her up somewhat!!).  Then I asked what the hold up is and she told me there were many things causing the delays.  They are restructuring the whole department,  training nutritionists and nurses etc etc. She also mentioned setting up of new equipment and training on that.  When I suggested I'd call her back in 2 weeks for my appt, she said "Don't bother, the hospital will call you directly."  I didn't like the previous response that Amary rec'd saying they were doing a feasibility study because that suggests to me they may not even be sure they will be doing the surgery!!! This is ridiculous, somebody must be able to give us a straight answer and flash a bit of light down the tunnel!!  But there's really nothing we can do, is there, but wait?  I wish someone knew someone who worked at the hospital so we could maybe get an answer that fits!!  Even my family doctor was surprised at the lack of information we have!  The waiting continues.....

I just hope someone, somewhere will have an answer to reconfirm that at least we are not wasting our time.  

hey dont give up the time is coming they have the date their gone to starts ...... and they wont give it before there sure the new units ok and the staff is ready it all new for all of us ......i am wating for a date me to i was told ike all the rest this winter ..... for all of you waiting dont give up and stay strong........
