OMG! I just got called from the George Dumont Hospital- I have pre-op tests tomorrow and surgery on Feb 24th!!!!   I am panicked about my weight. I was down all the extra weight on Friday but an up 1 pound today. I am definitely going to stop eating and only drink shakes until after the weigh-in tomorrow. Does anyone know if there is time to order the Medi-Trim?
OMG I am so excited, scared I will weigh too much, scared something will be wrong with the tests tomorrow, and doing the happy dance all at the same time!  I have to call Nathalie about the Medi Trim. I am so excited, I don't know what to do next.  I hope that one pound drops off by tomorrow. I was snowmobiling all weekend and I didn't drink my water, because....well you know....no bathrooms and a 1 piece suit....I also had some no-no food. I didn't go crazy with it, but choice was limited as we ate at the only decent restaurant in town. I had 1 last meal (Nachos) and a muffin with my coffee at Tim's. The other meals were as good a choice as was available. I brought snacks for the trail that were healthy.  OMG I am in a tail spin!! Can ya tell? LOL
Yaaaa! Whoooo! for me!

Way to go, I am soooooo happy for you.  I'm sure your weigh in will be fine, you are just stressing.  I can't believe they didn't give you much notice, did they have a cancellation?

Just remember you have a whole three weeks to lose that pound plus many more.

CONGRATS on your call!!!!!!

Woohoo!!!

The dance of joy can be knee knocking sometimes but just think of the extra calories you are burning.

Make sure you get lots of fluids to "clean out" and that will lose a pound or more to ease your mind, lol.

So exciting!  Seems to me that it only takes a few days to get the shakes in from there so you should be fine.  Get your travel bag ready and what ever needs to be done at home to make recovery time easier as the time will fly not (although every second may drag LOLOLOL).

If you need anything tomorrow, call me.

Oh Charline, I am so excited for you too. Your weigh-in tomorrow will be fine so let the final waiting time begin to your new road of your new life. You finally made it and after such a long long wait, don't let your emotions of your weigh-in get the better of you. You have worked too hard for that. It's going to be great. You and the others have been such an inspiration to newbies like myself. Have fun and enjoy the last few steps...we're right behind you having a hard time keeping up with all your excitement. Congratulations on the call...Starr

Oh Charline I am so happy for you!!!!!! What a day for you.  I remember the feeling.  Really the 3 weeks will fly by.  Rinette arranges for you to get your Meditrim or Optifast.  I ordered mine on a Thursday and it was delivered to my door on the Monday, I started it on the Tuesday and had surgery exactly 2 weeks later.

Don't fret over the weight,  just drink lots of water for the rest of today but stop by about 6 or 7 tonite and go to bed early.  You will be fine.  I know it.  Once you get your meal replacement you will have to focus on that and for sure you will lose weight on that.  Some people lose as much as 15 pounds so fear not.

This is it girlie, the last stretch, the final few footsteps.  It has taken you such a long time and your patience has been tried and you have had some low times and you have had some exciting times.  But now its down to the wire and all you have to do it do what they tell you to do to the letter and it will be a breeze.

I will be in Fort Lauderdale on your surgery day but I promise I will keep you in my thoughts and put positive energy out there for you to have a good surgery and a speedy recovery.

Oh and go get some Benefiber or Fibersure right away and start using it now cause there is no way I want you to suffer the way I did.

OH WOW Charline,  OMG

WHOOOO!  HOOOO! WHOOOOOO HOOOOO! OMG OMG, Charline OMG Finally. I am sooooo excited for you. All that dancing will burn off that one pound!! I don't know how to put the dancing guys on screen but know that they are there.  Remember me and that pound I couldn't lose. That may be you too. I'll bet you are breathing a sigh of relief. Now, time for 2 week freak LOL Next week I'll be saying to you, Welcome to the world of starvation. This part is no fun, but you'll make it. OMG

Hate to say I told you so but I told you we'd both be done by  the end of March, and we will. LOL   You and I will be so close in geting our surgeries over before it gets hot,  We can heal all spring.  Hope we both are much slimmer by summer and be able to enjoy summer instead of suffering through it. I am so happy for you.
