Is Opti-Fast no more

i looked at the web site, where we purchase Opti-Fast and it is no longer listed. Medi Trim is listed instead. It does appear to be cheaper. Plus there are bars in 2 flavors. Does anyone know what patients are being told by Dr B and staff re the pre-op diet?  Medi-Trim is an Austrailian product and the manufacturer's web site lists lots of different flavors. I am looking for another supplier in North America in the hope that the other flavors are available.

I think it was Maggie who told us last week after her info session or maybe it was one of the other girls said that they are switching to Medi Trim shakes and bars.  check the posts last week.  patsy

Yes, I was also at the info session on Jan 27 and I was quite excited when she said that they switched from Opti-fast to meditrim and that there were bars available

MMMMMM! Bars!  The cost is lower too, I think OptiFast was 210.00 or 220.00. MediTrim is 168.00. I don't know how that compares to Slim Fast.

As soon as I read this I thought of you Charline,  I know you have issues with "no food".  Seems to me that this will help you a great deal.  I am glad for that for you.

Hi Charline - it was me who mentioned about MediTrim. What website is it that you went on for Optifast? 

Minogue Medical in Montreal is where Dr B's patients got Opti-Fast. I noticed a week or so ago that they list OptiFast as out of stock. Yesterday I went back and there was no mention of Opti-Fast. The only product there now is the Medi Trim.
