Do you have a surgery date with Dr B?

I was wondering if any of the silence surfers here have surgery dates coming up with Dr B. If so , when?

I dont have anything..he's only had my referral since last July and the refeptionist said 5 yrs so I'm not anywhere near where you girls are, sometimes I don't feel like I have too much to add to the conversations...sorry.  I keep hounding De Dornans receptionist every Tuesday for my referral letter to be sent to Dr S and it still has not been sent, I requeste it over a month ago...I'm not sure wha the problem is, she says he has alot of requestas to get through is all.  I actually wentn to my own family Dr and asked him to send referrals to both doctors and he said he woul by end of last week and here I am a week later.  I did call his receptionist as well...so I will be bugging her again Monday and Dornan's on Tuesday.  All I can do is push until they both get my referrals so I can at least know I am on both lists.....I am frustrated though

I was wondering if they could just give you the referral and you fax it off to Dr. Savoie's clinic then that way you know it has been sent and you can rest your mind.  I know the frustration of everything is very hard.  But at least once you know Dr. Savoie has your referral it shouldn't be long until you get a call from the clinic mine was faxed over to Dr. Savoie on January 2nd and my family doctor's secretary received a confirmation that they received it and I would be getting a call in a few months so that is a relief.  I can't wait to get on with the next chapter of my life. We should get together some weekend it has been ages since I was over to your place. 

Take care and look into getting the referral given to you and fax it off.

I had my own copy of my referral that my GP gave me for my records. So I faxed it to Dr. Savoie myself. I didn't get a confirmation though but I called next day and was told the referral were already sent to the hospital. Since a confirmation was recieved, I will check again Monday.

When you faxed over your own referral to Dr. savoie how long ago was it when you had called them and they had sent it righ tover to the hospital?  Keep us posted of any news after Monday when you call them.  I am so excited for everyone that will soon be seen and for myself because I hope that sometime this year I will have my surgery with Dr. Savoie.

I believe it was tuesday morning when I called. The woman that answered was slightly impatient with me because I called to see if it was recieved. I hope its a better day on Monday. I can't wait as I too have been day dreaming about what I'd be like with out this excess weight. I will keep all up on what happens .

I just noticed on your profile that you live out west or have you moved to NB just curious...lol  I am on here late because I am work and work the graveyard shift until 7am 5 days a week and have the weekends off.  I have not called Dr. Savoie's office back after my family dr faxing my referral over and the secretary telling me that they received a confirmation, I was thinking that they must be very busy at his clinic trying to get things set up for the surgeries etc.  I am sure also that they know we are all excited about having a new doctor in NB doing the same thing as Dr. B. and knowing that the list is very very very long and we tend to call because we want to know..I guess patience is a virtue which at times is not always easy to have and in this case we are all anxious.

I do still live west. It's ok but I've been here to long. Graveyard shift yikes! I don't like to think about when I briefly worked that shift. I lack patience lately I guess I'd feel better if I knew they received it. Anyway I got an early morn so I'm off. Later
