Called for my info session!!!
With Ann's encouragement I am writing to let you all know that I have received my call for the info session - February 10/09. I am so excited - I can't believe I am finally on my way to a new life! You are right Ann, the posts from everyone are very encouraging and sometimes I've come across what seems to be a small detail - but something very helpful to me. I have set up my Excel spreadsheet, a chart which I will post here once I have a little data for it, and a binder with page protectors to keep hard copies of anything which might need keeping. I am READY!
I hear you sometimes have support meetings and I would love to attend if possible - anything around the Fredericton area.

Hi Suzanne, there is going to be a meeting on Feb 7. Not sure of the time or the location but somewhere in Fredericton. CLawrence is organizing this one so we should hear pretty soon the details. Look forward to meeting you and hearing your story!! Congrats on your appt for the info session! Betty
Hey Jenn,
Nice to see a post from you too. Stay in touch.
Ann
I should explain that I have spoken to Jenn and Suzanne on the phone and so I have a vested interest in them joining us here. They are both nice ladies and so very easy to chat with. They will be great additions to any meetings that might take place.

Hi Suzanne
Welcome to the board, I don't think that I have seen you around here (the board) before. This is the information that was posted about the next Fredericton support group meeting by clawrence-
Hi Guys,
Lets see if we can pin a date for Feb, so those in Moncton can discuss if they like.
I suggest the 7th. The next weekend is Valentines, so might not be good for some. And the 3 weekend I might not be there as I might leave Canada a week early.
So...I would really like to get together the 7th. I have a suggestion as well. How about my house. I live in Mactaquac - only 20 min from Fredericton..so bit longer to drive but I promise to make it worth it for you.
I would like to provide lunch and will meet the needs of all of you. The Bands, the RNYs, the waiters and the DSers.
I would alos like to have some WII fit demos so you can all see how this is working, it will be a bit of fun, and for those curious you can see how it "might" be something that could track your weight and support your losses. (Not a sales pitch....just a little fun thing)
My Husband will be there....and as a house husband, and the total manager of our house, I can promise he will take good care of all of us, the wls folks and our husbands/wives/support persons.
So..how does that sound? And if you perfer to meet in town..Fredericton...that is perfect as well. I am keen on that too. I don't want to host in Mactaquac if this means some can not come the extra distance.
Let me know what you all think. and don't worry that I might be offended if you perfer to meet in town..really...I could not care less...just getting the Mactaquac suggestion out there. And I expect it will be the out of towners who find this extra drive the biggest pain in the butt :)
Take CAre,
CAth
