Had my pre-admission today

I made weight. I weighed 253 with Caroline. I weighed 257 this am on my scales. I guess my scales were not working this last week. I was terrified on the way to Moncton this morning. Rinnette, Caroline and I had a good laugh over it. Everything went well I guess, Dr. B. made a note on my chart about wanting me to see a pulmonologist. He didn't mention it to me. Caroline picked it up when she was going over his notes this am. She said everything should be O.K. as long as I don't catch a cold. Then I would have to be postponed.

So on the way home ,my son who drove me to Moncton turns to me and says "mom, I think I'm getting a cold, I feel awful"'. UUUGGG That's all I need!!!

I met a couple of the girls who were up for the info session. Seem like really nice girls. Good luck to all.

what the heck is a pnemonologist?  and STAY AWAY FROM YOUR SON !!!!!!!!!!

Woooooo!Hoooooo! Closer and closer! We all will be wishing you "well in your surgery tomorrow" in no time at all.

A pulmonologist is a lung specialist. And as for my darling son, I warned him once we got home that he was not to cough on me touch me or mine and not to even look too hard in my direction. Unfourtunately, colds are contagious a day or two before they become symptomatic. So he may have had this and spreading his little joys aroung for the past two days. UUUGGG

While waiting for surgery I took 3  - 3 day courses of Cold FX, which really does work.  I was terrified of getting a cold and managed to stay symptom free.  I was so paranoid I would not even use someone else's pen to sign for credit card purchases before Christmas.  It worked and I had surgery on the day - no problem.  However 24 days after surgery, I did not take Cold FX for a tiny sore throat and got sick as a dog.  Give it a try  - what have you got to lose.  I use the Cold FX Extra strength.

Yeah, I have used cold-fx in the past with good results too. I did stop by Sussex mall on the way home and bought some. As soon as I got home I took 3. I will take 3 tomorrow am and 3 tomorrow at noon and so on. I will also tale Tylenol , 2 tabs 3 times a day too just to hedge my bets. OMG, I have to stay cold free for 2 more weeks. I will also gargle with Listerine for the next 2 weeks too. LOL I'll be taking more drugs during this coming week than I've taken all year.
