Weekly Weigh In
Wow, where do the weeks go. I'm back from WW. What a line up. it was busier today than it was right after new years. I guess people just realized now, that they can't fulfill their new years resolution on their own. In about 4 or 5 weeks the line ups will be back to normal. that's the usual trend. they join, go gung ho for 4 or 5 weeks and then quit. I'm 3 weeks away from being a member for a full year. I think that's the longest I've ever belonged to WW. I used to be one of those others that I just referred to above!!!!
As you know my goal is to lose 100 by the end of March and have been struggling to get past the 80 mark. Well today i was down 2.2 for a total of 81.4 !!!!! Yahoo !!! only 18.6 to reach 100. yeah. it now seems reachable.
I think I'll go do the happy dance now !!!! Dance with me !

Boogie on down girlie!!!! It burns calories. I am with ya. Yay for you!!!
I lost a pound this week with no restriction. I am shocked that I have maintained the will power this long. I have been on the treadmill a few times this week too and had hoped that my weight would have been down a bit more but I am happy with the pound. That brings me to a total of 23.2 since surgery and 39.6 since June and if you add the 14 gained and lost from going on the "Goodbye Diet" I am down 53.6 since end of July (but it is unofficial). Either way, I am happy.
I will post a couple of NSVs in a separate post. Patsy, I am so glad you are doing so well and that you are on your way to your goal. Keep it up. You are amazing!!

This is my first time on this forum and I would love to hear from anyone who has had surgery by Dr. Beausoleil or who is in the process. I had my first meeting with him on Thursday January 22/09. I am more convinced now than ever that this is what I want and need to do!
take care and good luck to you all!

Wow the both of you guys. That's awesome. Every portion of a pound lost is a win. As hard as it is to maintain weight let alone maintain weight loss is incredible. You two gals are really doing well. Keep it up and before you know it you will have a new nick name. SKINNY MINNY.
Patsy won't be long before you are in the 100 pound club. YES

That is so wonderful, Patsy. Most impressive is that most of those lbs you lost on your own with WW. No one can say it was because of the WLS. So, did you tell anyone there yet. I am still regretting telling my friend and now she is harping on me to just control my portions instead of considering WLS. She knows I have my info session in February. She is also a heavy woman and lives her life on a diet. So I am not sure if she qualifies for the "saboteur" title. In any case, you are doing wonderfully. Can you imagine, almost 100 lbs in a year. That is quite a feat in itself cause life continues to happen even when we are trying so hard to loose weight. I love reading your updates and you are such an inspiration. A mentor indeed.
thanks guys....your support means so much.
