Info session appointment

I am so excited I could......well....I just could!! I originally had an appointment for the information session in Halifax on  Oct 31,but I had to  be with my sister out of province. Today I get an e-mail from Diane, the coordinator, and my info appointment is on Feb 17.So close and I am so excited. The time read "between 1 and 3" What does that mean "between". Will they just keep starting over every time someone walks in between those times. Just read wierd to me. Anyone know anything about this???  I have waited 4 years now but only since September was I referred to the new doctor at the QE2.  I hope it happens this summer. I am ready for this. Although, my sister, my support, wanted to be with me, she will be with me in spirit. Wish me luck, everyone.

Yea !!!!  I'd say it starts at 1:00 and ends at 3:00.  Not a long session though.  Ours was all day in Moncton.  Oh well...take from it what you can, and ask lots of questions !!!!!  yippee!!!!

I don't know.I think if I were you I'd call her back and ask about the time. When I went to my info session , we had to be there at 8:30 and the session started at 9 am and ran until almost 4 pm. Even then it could have gone a little longer. I'd call to confirm. Doesn't sound right to me.  Good luck. You are on your way.

Like others said it probably means that the info session runs from 1:00-3:00 - but ya definitely would want to make sure!

Let me know if you are going to be in town for the whole day or just down and back - maybe I can meet you at the hospital before or after your session for a tea or coffee or in my case - WATER!! lol

What a sweet gesture! You are just so thoughtful. I am excited and I know this is just the first step and I realize ther are many hoops to go through.......but I am pumped! I only hope I meet their criteria. Jackie, had her information session in Oct (the one I missed) and is scheduled for surgery in February. Oh my, I made a mistake. I was talking about Dr. Beausoliel's info sessions. They are 8 hours long. I don't habe any idea how long they are in halifax.
