Is Saturday the 7th February a good date for Fredericton WLS Meetup
Hi Guys,
Lets see if we can pin a date for Feb, so those in Moncton can discuss if they like.
I suggest the 7th. The next weekend is Valentines, so might not be good for some. And the 3 weekend I might not be there as I might leave Canada a week early.
So...I would really like to get together the 7th. I have a suggestion as well. How about my house. I live in Mactaquac - only 20 min from Fredericton..so bit longer to drive but I promise to make it worth it for you.
I would like to provide lunch and will meet the needs of all of you. The Bands, the RNYs, the waiters and the DSers.
I would alos like to have some WII fit demos so you can all see how this is working, it will be a bit of fun, and for those curious you can see how it "might" be something that could track your weight and support your losses. (Not a sales pitch....just a little fun thing)
My Husband will be there....and as a house husband, and the total manager of our house, I can promise he will take good care of all of us, the wls folks and our husbands/wives/support persons.
So..how does that sound? And if you perfer to meet in town..Fredericton...that is perfect as well. I am keen on that too. I don't want to host in Mactaquac if this means some can not come the extra distance.
Let me know what you all think. and don't worry that I might be offended if you perfer to meet in town..really...I could not care less...just getting the Mactaquac suggestion out there. And I expect it will be the out of towners who find this extra drive the biggest pain in the butt :)

DS Surgery June 2006, Been fine every since. Weight stays the same. Rarely remember I had surgery.....except for the daily vitamins.
That date is perfect for me. Driving to Mactaquac is not problem for me either. I look forward to the WII demo as I have been thinking on getting one but know nothing about it. I also worry about weight limits on all exercise equipment. I have an awesome treadmill but the weight limit is 250 so I am unable to use it right now.
I found this on a site...
"Also, because when you’re standing on the Balance Board for some of the activities you don’t quite jump but you squat and exert different amounts of pressure on the Balance Board, the actual physical structure of the board is able to withstand much greater weights of around probably 660 pounds. The weight that it can accurately measure is 330 pounds."
So, lets test its limits!
I used to wiegh 330...wish I had of had it then!
