Weight limit BMI limit

Is there ia weight or BMI limit for the DS. I am afraid Dr. Beausoliel will not do the RNY on me because my BMI is 47 now after losing 34 pounds. If he says no, I wonder if Dr. Savoy has a weight or BMI before he will do the DS? Believe me when I say, I could easily regain those 34 pounds and more if need be. LOL

If I were you, I would book a consult with Dr S - there is no harm in getting a second opinion or "back-up".

I believe my BMI was around 52 but there have been some "light-weights" on the DS forum who still had the DS procedure.  Usually anyone with over 100 pounds to lose can be considered.

Ask first at least before you make any drastic changes to your diet ... putting the weight back on shouldn't need to happen!  lolol

OMG< Michelle, I just realized that you have changed your picture. I didn't recognise you until now.  I was starting to wonder where you had gotten to. LOL Oh my.

I was wondering if Dr. Savoy has a BMI limit for DS? Dr. B. has a BMI limit of 60 for bypass. I suppose it's less if you have co-morbidities. I am having bypass due to several other reasons. Has anyone heard about Dr.S. and BMI?

On the old picture, I think your face and shoulders looked bigger. You must have lost weight and didn't tell us. I was seeing this new picture and thinking it was a new person to the site, was even going to welcome you to this site. LOL Oh my.
