Dr. S. We need to be patient

I called his office today.  The secretary said that she believes they'll know more by the 20th of this month.  I would be *very* surprised if anyone has surgery in January, to be honest.  Maybe the middle of February?  In any event, all of this takes time (setting up, staffing, etc), and we really need to be patient.  He told me April, so that's what I'm shooting for.  If it's earlier, then fine, but until then I will be patient and continue to do my best to work on keeping myself healthy.

 I am always patiently waitying.

You were told April so that is what you are shooting for and I was told before xmas - early January so this is why I was shooting for that time.

I realize that we are dealing with the NB Health Care system so there are bound to be delays. I don't care whether it's January or February. To be honest, the sooner the better but I am on vacation right now and to have surgery right after vacation wouldn't be the ideal situation, so on paper february looks better for me anyway.

I should be one of the first people to get the call since I saw him on his first day...but lord only knows.

Good thing for patience!  It's a skill I need to master.

We were all told something different, so it's no wonder there is such confusion about times, etc.  Nothing we can do about any of it, so again - it's good to be patient!  :D
