do you like your magic bullet?
I got mine on sale at Canadian Tire. I got the platinum pro model which is regularly 99.99 but it was on for 69.99. I felt it was worth it at that price. I like it but I think you have to remember that it is a small appliance and treat it as such. If you pu**** to do things it is not meant to do and you don't read the instructions which say not to run it longer than a minute, then it may not meet your expectations.
As far as it making Optifast go better, I doubt it would make that much difference. I went to GNC which sells vitamins and protein powders and pre packaged health food items and bought 3 small size Blender Bottles for around $21 for all 3. Any shop that caters to body builders would have Blender Bottles in both small and large sizes. They have a small wire wisk like ball in the bottom of the bottle that blends the Optifast just fine. It has a flip top that you can drink from and it did the job for me for all 14 days. Costs way less than the Magic Bullet too.
The trick to remember with Optifast is get it as cold as you can. Chill your water, add ice cubes and get it super cold; its more palatable that way.
The Bullet would come in handy for the pureed portion of the post surgery diet but any blender should do the trick for that. I used a little $12 blender from Wal-mart until I got my Bullet. Its nice to have but you don't need it. I just got mine because it was on sale and I had Christmas money. Hope this helps you decide.

Haven't tried mine yet but will in the next couple days and give a report, lol.
We got ours for only $20 (still pretty much brand new as lady used it only for a couple months to make baby food until her daughter could eat regular) from an ad on Kijiji.ca so check out your local city (or closest) and see if there are any listed. As of a couple days ago there were still 2 listed on the Moncton site - just be sure to look it over well, ask if still have the manual etc.

I bought mine on sale at Cdn Tire. I bought the mid-sized kit. I haven't tried mine yet. The deluxe model has a stronger motor. I got mine for half price (under 30.00), and the deluxe model was 99.99. I didn't think it was worth the difference. Has anyone bought the less powerful model? How well does it work?
