Weekly Weigh In

Well here were are.  another saturday at weigh****chers.  i wasn't sure how i was going to do but was hopeful.  I was down 3.8 lbs for a total of 79.2.  WOW!  I   lost weight over xmas.  imagine.  This is my last xmas as an obese woman.  EVER!   by next xmas i should be close to goal.  What a great feeling.  I never thought the band would be so awesome.  Still feeling restriction from my fill on Monday and yes it was my first fill.  I'm sure it will wear off once the swelling is gone and i lose more weight, but i enjoy it while i have it. 

3.8 woo hooo you go girl!!!  I am so glad for you.  I have no restriction to the best of my knowledge.  I am only eating about a cup per sitting and it does not seem to make me feel full much.  I am trying to eat my snacks and drink my water and do it all by the book but I just don't think I would have trouble eating a real meal instead of puree. Not that I am about to test that.  Enjoy your restriction while you can and make the best of it.  I don't know if I really want a fill before we head south.  If I am doing well keeping to the diet in the booklet and not overdoing it I might hope to wait til we get back for a fill.  But its Dr. Beau's office who is calling the shots so I will just ride it til the wheels fall off as they say.

Thanks!!!!   when it comes to fills its up to you if you want one or not.  He said that if they call and I don't want one, just say so.  they will call you again in a few weeks and ask again.  They talk about being in the green zone...the optimal place to be.  Yellow zone is needing a fill, hungry all the time, Red zone is needing an unfill, and green zone is losing weight and feeling full. If there are cir****tances that you don't want a fill just tell them.  that is one thing they want to rely on your judgement.  I should be due for another one in February.  I'm leaving for Florida on March 31 and hope to lose the next 20.8 lbs by that time.  I should be able to do that.  that will put me at 100 lbs lost !  can you believe it?    Its crazy how the lbs start to add up.  Anyway, that's it for now, Patsy
