Restriction !!!

Wow, do I have restriction.  It's hard to explain but you know when you have it.  It keeps you on the straight and narrow for sure.  I had a pureed dinner yesterday and while it was delicious it wasn't as much fun eating it.  I could feel every morsel going down.  After a while you just stop.  Or at least I did.    It was amazing to look around the room at other people's plates and think " how are they going to eat all that"?  Their plates looked disgusting.  I've been eating off a small plate for weeks now and not used to that look of an overful plate.  I get weighed tomorrow so stay tuned !!!!

Wow! That is great!!  Wasn't  this your first fill?  I didn't think you could get restriction on one fill! I'm thrilled for you.

Yes this was first fill but i don't suspect it will last forever.  swelling will go down and as i lose more weight the band will get looser again.  but it's a weird feeling.  I will enjoy it while it lasts.  Dr. B said it would be about 6 weeks until next fill. so that should work out ok. 

Great to hear you have restriction Patsy.  I on the otherhand am thinking I could eat real food rather than puree right now but I won't because I am not supposed to until the 30th.  And even then I am nervous to do so.  I am hanging in there and following everything to the letter just to be on the safe side. I am down a total of 18 since surgery but I expect to gain some once I get back to real food.  I will be interested to see how things go for you from now on.  Keep us posted.
