Finally!

Well, after 7 years of waiting on the Halifax list, and two years on the Moncton list, I finally saw Dr. Beausoleil on Monday. I am so excited that the wait will soon be over. I will be having the gastric bypass, as our NS healthcare does not cover the Lapband. I am now waiting to get a date for my information session. Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

woooohooo!!!!   That,s just great. I feel it is only fair to warn you that the hardest part bof the waiting is now to surgery.  The clock just crawls and all you seem to think about is surgery and the next call. They tell me it is an illusion, but I'm not so sure. It's the old watched pot symdrome. Welcome to the waiters club.    LOL

Thanks everyone, for your good thoughts. It does seem like it's all I can think about. And it's nice to know there are people on here that I can 'talk' with about the process.

I had my 1st session with Dr. B on the 15th of Dec and I am to waiting for my call for the information Session. Hopefully we will be in together.  I'll keep you posted. Merry Christmas to all  :)

I too am waiting on the info session. My consult was the 17th. Maybe we'll all go together. That would be cool.

I spoke to the receptionist to give her my cell # - can't remember her name - and she said that she would call in early Jan. to schedule the session. Please let me know when you hear anything, and vice versa.
