Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Mine was ok, in-laws got here on Friday so that's always a joy..
DH and I were supposed to go to a Christmas party on Saturday but ended up in one of those arguments that could only get worse if I opened my mouth in front of his parents so I dropped it and went to visit some friends...needless to say we didn't go to the party...oh well.
Aside from that, I'm all done with Christmas shopping, no decorating done..I mentioned to DH that his mom could put up the tree and his dad and him can put a few lights out today.
I don't decorate until we have my son's B-day party since he was born on the 16th and I don't want him to ever feel slighted cuz his B-day is so close to Christmas...so we make sure his day is special on it's own and then we get geared up for Christmas...(I know I'm silly but that's just how I see things).
Anyways, days are going by fast, and hopefully come the new year we'll be getting news on surgeries for my Mom and I...

Funny how people see the same things completely differently. My birthday is exactly 2 weeks after Christmas. My mother extended the Christmas decorations from epiphony by 3 days to make my birthday special. My daughter's birthday is Dec17th and I always race to get the decorations up in time for her birthday.
I spent the weekend decorating and now I am wrapping, wrapping, wrapping. I have got to realize that my babies make more money than I do and stop buying tons of gifts for them. I do love to spoil them at Christmas!
