Where has everyone gone???

This place is dead, dead!  Come on, someone must have an update, a comment, juicey gossip, or a good joke to tell!!   It's lone out here, naked on the board!  LOL

I had noticed the board was a little quiet ... I spend fair bit of time on the DS forum and have been checking out some of the other Canadian forums. 

Spent last couple days entering last orders for Christmas in both Avon and Tupperware - now just pray for good weather so they can come in and I can deliver them!

Still battling my cold - now moved into my sinuses with a lingering cough!  Hoping that I am still "developing" stomach muscles and not a hernia! lol

Hubby is on vacation next week so hoping to get the tree up (with a 4 year old, one does not put it up too early

That's my news - oh yes our dishwasher got a leak today but found another on kijiji tonight so early Christmas present - yayyyy.  Also got on kijiji a Magic Bullet and soon a special coffee machine to make expresso, and those milk lattee that help Catherine with her protein options - got to love a deal!!

How is everyone else?

My husband has been sick. Its a busy time of year too. I have been patiently waiting for the 1st  one to get a call from Dr. Savoie's office for a surgery date....after all its Dec.12.....surgeries are supposed to start in January & we all have to do the 2 week fasting ....so it should be soon. Wonder who #1 will be ???

i'm wondering the same thing...  can't wait!   unless the first is not on this site!!!!!

Does anyone know when he started taking consultations? The waiting is gonna kill me I swear!!!!! Even being busy with Christmas is not helping.

yuccchhhh , I forgot that it could be someone that doesn't even know this forum exists. I think that scartears was one of the first from this forum  to get a call to see him. I say lets get this show on the road !!!

Well HELLO everyone.  I figured everyone was busy with Christmas and all. I prefer this forum over the lapband forum, because I have learned all I want to learn for now and I rather hang out with people I know.  I wonder what I can do to promote the NB forum?  I have already sent messages to members that used to post here but don't any more. Any ideas?
Michelle, have you tried taking zinc to boost your immune system? I find that it works really well. I keep it around and start poping them when I feel a cold coming on and it usually takes care of it.

Cat, I'm sorry to heard your hubby is ill. Nothing serious , I hope.

Michelle, funny you mention Magic Bullet...I saw them on sale in Canadian tire or some store...and almost posted it here as I used mine so much in those early days.  And often to make a real beefy homemade soup.

Yes I saw the sale... but still saved money so feel good!  Haven't tried it yet as a "Christmas present" and I am the patient one in the family, lol much to Lee's dismay.  Looking forward to a variety of drinks and soft stuff.

Thanks for the bed again.  We had fun, would have had more with you there of course!  Looked like things went well for the showing of your threatrical debut - wish we could have seen it ... will your lodging fees now go up since you are an accomplished star?  LOL

I'm here too I just been quiet. Just wanted to say that I love my magic bullet! I bought one a couple weeks ago thinking it would be good for surgery!
I was the first one on this board to see Dr. S on his first day of consultations and you will all be the first to know when he calls.
