What did I miss?

I am so disappointed that I couldn't make it to the support group. I was looking so forward to meeting you all. Sounds like you all had a great time. This forum has saved me. Having people like you all who are going through the same as me. Having the same Doctor is so reasurring.

I just want to thank you all for your posts and being here sharing your widsom and emotions. This is a wonderful group. I especially want to thank Catherine for being part of this. Having you here after having the surgery and losing the weight is priceless.

There is always next month. It was a blast and as always, it was over too quickly.  I met 3 of by OH friends that I had not met before.  Prancing-nougat, amary, and  kelmera74.  I hope they enjoyed it enough to come again next month.  Our hostest just had her band surgery on Friday. We didn't know untill we arrived- that's one gutsy women. I gave a short talk about food planning for the holidays. and we just talked and talked and talked. It was great. I handed out some info programs & cooking classes at the Superstore. We may have our January meeting there.

We missed you!  I won't be there in January, but will be with bells on in Feb. 

to be honest...I feel bad we descended on Lori the day after her surgery so folks, if the Superstore is not available on Saturdays...I really believe we should reconsider meeting in a restaurant...an external location is really just less hassle. 

Lori was a saint...but..I think it was just too much and we need to consider that as our group grows...we should find a place where we can land and not take over someone's home.

I am not there in Jan...so you can all decide on what works...

I know that Sobey's also has a community room. Not sure about all locations but I do know the one in Oromocto has one. Just a thought.

I am ok with Oromocto...it is a little further for me...but hey...if folks are coming from Moncton and Saint John...then surely I can make it from Mactaquac!

The Oromocto Superstore does not have the dietitians and cooking classes etc.
