Called Dr. S's office this morning
I called Dr. S’s office today to see if he had begun surgeries. His secretary (I pity that woman, she probably receives 20 same type calls a day) told me he hadn’t and that he is supposed to begin in January. I asked her if I had seen him on his first day of consults and she said I had. I asked her if she thought I would be in January and she said she couldn’t say for sure, but since I was on his first day that I should be one of the first ones to go.
She told me that I needed to wait for the hospital to call.
I think the main reason people are receiving different information in regards to admission, is because the system is still ironing out the details. I saw him on his first day and he told me I would need to see the Nutritionist, get pre opt tests and sign papers while some people have been told they can go for pre opt tests in their hometown and see the Nutritionist the day of the surgery. I’m not sure of how it works now, but things may have changed since I’ve seen him on Oct 9th. I can’t wait to get my call so I know the details. Things will be clearer then.
