Found out some answers !
Hi everyone . I have been suffering with pressed nerves in my shoulder (left).It's casing a lot of pain ...(non-stop).It travelles down my left arm ino the elbow , ends up in the thumb & forefinger. I have had no peace since I got it . I have had 7 EXRAYS done on Tuesday. I didn't sleep a wink all night.laid in the hospital all night,waiting for a Dr. FINALLY got one. He scribed me morophine,I've been on for 7 days......i feel real stupid...I can only type with one hand !
I called Dr Savoies office this afternoon, her nama is Martha. I told her that I was in to the office in Oct.to see him. Now I wanted to know what my next step was.
She said the next step would be a call from the hospital They would telling me the surgery date. They would be telling me to get my blood work done in Saint John. Then she said that they would be giving me all the rest of the info right then.
Martha said that there would be no calls for surgeries BUT some of us will be getting dates for surgeries in January No Surgeries over Xmas......but look out in January....we;ll be up & away ...I glad that I called.

I'm so excited! I am hoping to get done in January. I saw Dr. S on one of his first days!

Sorry for losing the first couple of posts here. More sorry for myself though. The mistakes I am making in my spelling & such.....its a bummer.
I think that the most of you likely know what I mean. Here's how I took this message ****I don't think there will be any more consultations with Dr. Suvaoie , until these ones are done. I mean , I DONT KNOW , but Martha said that no surgeries until January. The hospital is getting everything ready for us in Jan. The calling in DECEMBER will be a call letting us know the surgery date, & all of our directions.
I hope that I have made a bit oF sense if not ....just dont bother with me until I get off the MORPHINE !!

How many trips do you have to make to Bathurst? I know for me, I had the one consultation at the beginning...then my next trip...was to the hospital for surgery. I had all the preop stuff done the day prior to the surgery, overnight and the DS the next day...but they do things different here.

DS Surgery June 2006, Been fine every since. Weight stays the same. Rarely remember I had surgery.....except for the daily vitamins.

Oh you mean, no more consultation calls! well I was wondering where he was in regards to having so many consultations--he was telling everyone this winter and we all know that time in the OR time is valuable!

He had told me right before the holidays or the first week of January. Then I called his secretary about two weeks ago and she told me he was only beginning in January. I am super excited!

Well I mean it happened at the right time because we all know December flies by due to the holidays and all that running around :(
If I am done in the beginning of January- I may be on shakes for christmas.
This does not bother me because I want this so bad, plus today at work it's christmas dinner! yay!

Thanks Tears , its really diffucult to function normal when your all doped up ..
...BUT thank heavens ....for the pills. I don;t know what I would do wihtout them. It seems to be the only kind of pill that even touches the pain.
I have an app with my own GP tomowwow.
I am happy that I called Sr.Savoie'receptionist.. I got as far as seeing '' Dr Marc '' & he told me I would have the surgery done by spring !
I am waiting patiently like the rest of you ! Time will roll around quickly.
