Provincial requirements for the DS...

We're having a hard time with OHIP (Ontario) approvals for people with BMW's in the lower 40's. Just wondering what requirements your province and surgeon require for someone to qualify for the DS.

I believe the BMI has to be over 40 or 35 with co-morbidities. We don't know a great deal about it yet as he just opened his practice in October. He hasn't done a WSL here yet.

Thank you! I'll be keeping my eye on things with you guys because OHIP here is really getting sticky with their DS approvals which makes many of us SAD!!!!!!
