Update

My daughter Meg has her initial consult with Dr. Savoie on Thursday of this week.  The receptionist said he does not usually do young adults under the age of 19 but he does make expeptions if they seem mentally ready to handle the changes.  Fingers Crossed.  She is very mature for her age and has seen all I have gone through so I am hoping it won'y be a problem.

My husband will be away so it will just me Meg and I driving up and I am very nervous driving in places I have never been before.  My co-workers say Bathurst is a peice of cake to get around in so I am just going to put my fears behind me and go for it.  She is so excited that there was no way I was going to postpone the apointment to have someone drive me.

I will keep you informed.

Hey Carol,   I had never been to Bathurst before either, but I google mapped it and it was a piece of cake. I suggest you do the same to calm your fears.  Best of luck to your daughter and keep us updated!

She is correct - Bathurst is not too difficult to manage and the office is on one of the main streets.  Biggest thing is to find a parking spot!
