Well I don't know if I will be a poster child for Lap Band surgery but I am going to try really hard to make sure I use this wonderful opportunity to my best advantage.  It is not a decision taken lightly and it is not something I feel you can just do and not use properly.  I told Lise the other day, I don't understand how someone can go through all of this, the waiting, the gut wrenching decision making process, jumping through all the hoops and hanging in there from start to finish and then just blow it off by not following the rules and listening to the Dr and the other people at the clinic.  I am eager to get to the losing side now.  I am happy and content with my decision, I made it on my own with no pushing from anyone in my life one way or the other. 

Sounded like a pretty intensive day - but one more step towards victory!  For other waiting bandsters, I am sure your descriptive step by step notes of your journey will be a welcomed map for them.
