Getting to know you....

C,

LOL. I do dance when I've had a few drinks but this is usually not often because I am not much of a drinker.
I am planning on joining dance classes when I lose some weight- ballet in particular! Ever since I’ve been a little girl it’s been this serious dream of being capable of dancing in Pointe. I’m just not sure if I ooze enough grace for that.   As a child, I used to ice-skate anywhere and everywhere. I haven't ice-skated since the age of 14 so I am really hoping I can get started again.

You're daughter is an author? That's very interesting! I am certainly not a novelist.
I write on behalf of one of the largest communications company in Canada (which will remain nameless for security purposes- my own to be exact) as a Technical Writer, Communication Officer and Training Developer.   I wear many hats, but the ones I wear the most are creating/updating Training Manuals for new hires and sending internal communications to all employees across Canada.     When I write for fun, I write in my online journal, write poetry and write songs. My friend is a musician so sometimes we collaborate and write songs- which he plays. I much prefer to be behind the scenes.

My favorite thing to write is poetry. I enjoy it but I have to admit I haven't written a good solid poem in a long time.
I think it’s excellent that we are all getting to know each other.

What is your all time favorite song to dance to?

Good lord, I put my weight out there for all to see and now you want me to admit in public that I like country music!!!   Anything, Shania Twain or anything from the sixties!

When you are alone in the car, what is your favorite song to crank up the radio and sing to?

Another public admission....

When I was going through my divorce about 7 years ago,  I started cranking up the old country tunes that talked about losing your man!!  So it was Reba back then and now that I'm over all that,  I like to crank up the Dixie Chicks and replace "Earl" with my ex's name!!

What is your favorite color?

Woo..an easy one...yellow or orange!

Some how I jumped out of the site without finishing so here's the last of them..

What is your favorite pastime?

Watching tv...avidly!!

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?

Remembering the day when I was in elementary school and I was laying on the couch, sick with a cold, my mother came home and gave me a special gift to cheer me up.  To think that she had actually taken time after a hard days work to do something special for me.  It was the first time, I remember thanking that my mother really did love me after all!!!
