First meltdown
I am looking forward to the exercise. I used to go to the gym 6 days a week for an hoiur plus and 2-4 hours on Saturday. I miss that. i have a couple of questions.
-Do you feel hungry?
-Has giving up sweets been hard? Do you crave sweets?
-Is it difficult to maintain? Just how east is it to regain weight? I mean are we talking a little extra food daily or a bigger meal once a week?
-How much easier was loosing weight this time as compared to before the band?

Very rarely. My problem is mindless eating as of late. I need to stop and truly ask myself "Am I hungry?" Between the first and second fill, I was but from October - April I was truly "not hungry". It was a miracle. Since then I have really been playing with food and not listening to my body.

I only gave up sweets for the first 9 months and no it was not hard. Now I have them and yes I crave them. I believe moderation is the answer. If you tell me I CAN'T have something, that doesn't work for me. There are things I choose not to have (pizza, fries are two examples) but I do have sweets. Again for the first 9 months, I was super strict. Now I'm trying to find a healthy balance.

Yes I find it is difficult as I am up 10 lbs from my lowest. It is pretty easy to gain weight -- having said that I do "deserve" the weight I have gained as my food has been "out of control" for a couple of months. Not constantly but more off program than on. So yes, easy to gain and I would advise others not to let yourself gain more than 5. As I said I am up 10 and feeling self-loathe and very uncomfortable.

LOSING - don't make me beat you - it was MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH easier.

Thanks for your answers. I am feeling much better about the band now. As for the self-loathing. deep six that emotion, you are a wonderful person and 10 pounds or a hundred pounds will not change that. Don't say that nI don't know you, I am a "professional" judge of character and I have been reading you for a year or more!! You can get mad at your behavior, but love the innner you! Treat yourself with kindness.
