It was pointed out to me that I don't post here much/enough :P

Soooo here I am... I am a 34 year old, married, kitty mommy of 3 living in Fredericton.

I am 2 years and 3 months out from RNY bypass surgery. I lost all ogf my excess weight and a little more. I have spent the last few months working hard to gain weight and am right at my ideal weight for the next phase of post wls life.

I am currently waiting for plastic surgery with Dr. Haswell here in Fredericton. It was predicted I would have surgery around the end of October, which has passed without surgery. *sobs* Currently best guess from the hospital is before Christmas. So I'm checking my mail box everyday in hopes of receiving that willy wonka golden ticket to a magical land sweeter than any chocolate. I have about 20 pounds of redundant skin and residual fat to be removed in 1 or 2 (possibly 3) surgeries.

If any pre ops or early posties need an ear or help my email is always open :)

I hope everyone else s doing well :)

HI PK!
I had a full body lift last April.  It is so great to get rid of that extra skin.  The apron for me was the most important of the plastic surgeries which were being considered.

I am down for a boobie job this April, as well as the under arm area at the same time.  I think I will move this later in the year...and the legs...well...lets just say...I have a fair bit of extra skin!

I hope you can join us in Dec when we get together.  We can discuss the plastics.  They are really key when you have soooooooo much skin.

Take CAre,
Catherine

DS Surgery June 2006,  Been fine every since.  Weight stays the same. Rarely remember I had surgery.....except for the daily vitamins.

I'm the s**T disturber that went trolling for folfs that used to post here and are either chatting elsewhere or have just stopped posting. This site has been really active but it been mostly waiters or new loosers. I thought it was worth a shot contacting names that were familliar to me from a year ago. I sure hope you hang around evry now and then!

I hope you know how jealous I am with your latest weight problem. LOL
I know that whether taking it off or putting it on, it is equally difficult weight problem....well my head knows that but you would be hard pressed to convince my hips!!

By the way, I am having the lap band. I have had my consult and am going to the info session on Nov 18th.

Hi , I am happy to hear that  you two have lost all your weight & now are looking forward to some plastic surgery.  This is a  perfect subject  for all of us that are going to be losing a lot of weight . We will be facing the same things that you guys are.  We will most likey be following in your footsteps , so you can be the ones to lead the way & tell us what to expect with this surgery .
I know that my stomach is going to be a real issue , its an issue now .  The FLAP ......I hate it.

My husband is already keen on the plastic surgery and I haven't even had my procedure yet!  His comment was - I do not even like the wrinkle dogs - imagine the nerve.  Good thing I was planning on having it anyway so hopefully the rashes will be a thing of the past.
Live, Love, Laugh - Life is short so enjoy today!
